More Space to Dance
Alola 1999
If one sees Love from San Francisco, Musique Tropique, 16B, Trevor Lovey's featuring on a compilation, it's obvious this is about british finest atmospheric chillout deephouze. And yes, this compilation definitely is! Strongly reminding us to the superb early House of 909 sound, this selection makes no compromises. Sometimes with a danceable tempo, sometimes fully laidback, the music presented here almost all have these typical nicely worked out synth melodies on a deep driving bassline. It's a sound that we believe was pioneered by House of 909 2 years ago and here revitalized by a fine selection of british artists. Yes, you should know by now, this is home listening house music! Too well worked out for real dancefloor action but so much more suited for relaxing or lovemaking or both ?
(This depends on your girlfriend of course) More Space to Dance (is Space referring to the club ?) features 13 pearls of which we think following gems are the most shiny :

- Love from San Fransisco : Simple pleasures
Nice spacey subbass sound with moody melancholic melody
- Plain Lazy : Beat lazy
Yes it's lazy hazy downtempo stuff
- DJ Profile : Can U sing
Our pick from this compilation. Highly atmospheric ultradeep driving chillhouse
- 16B : Lost seconds
Even within this small nice house scene, 16B is able to put his marks on his music by a typical very varied broken basslines
- A fatter dog : Fatdog
Wow, xylophones and moogs to go!
- Trevor Loveys : Way back
Spacey synth sounds on midtempo groove
