 Owen Jay Mix4 - Late Nite Jazz |
A few weeks ago I received another mix CD from my friend Owen Jay from Malta. He also played in Antwerp (Belgium) last month at Club Geluk and Amsterdam (NL) Supper Club. Where he left a great impression and let the people hear tracks people won't forget soon! For me this CD is a better work to listen to than his first mix CD. That one was pretty good but more a reflection of his dj-sets at parties. This one is more of an easy listening Deep-House mix that I really like to play in my car or at home. The first tracks are so Jazzy-Funky, later on it's pretty uptempo but still stays easyyyy. I prefer this kind of stuff. For the music selection I give a 8/10 and for the excellent mixes a 9/10. At this time I'm really bored with most of the house mixes, records that come out. Still the same recipe like 8 years ago. No new vibrations ... But this CD is somethin' else, it gives you the feeling to believe in it again! So owen, this one really rocks! Keep up the good work and continue like this!
