![]() Múm Finally we are no one Fat-Cat 2002 |
Sometimes I think about what's the meaning of our lives? What are we doing here? Is thinking and philosophing over everything really okay? I don't like to be someone who is looking TV and doesn't think about the deepness of our lives and it's significancy? All those questions, things we say and think, etc... what is the truth? I Don't know. Anyway, like the title of the CD says: "Finally we are no one". Are we someone?? Yesterday we've been to Köln, really cool and chill city! We started the day in the car driving and listening to our latest electronica cd's .. and talking about our world! First we visited A-Musik, a great electro and weird-music shop, it was really great to be there. We also visited Groove Attack, Normal and Kompakt were I found this masterpiece of soft electro nics and child-friendly beats and crispssss. For me this is one of the best Fat-Cat releases I ever heard, the label is synonymous to experimental electronic music. But this time I felt very very good when I was listening to it, I could fall asleep ... I think if one day I have children and I need music to make them sleep or relax, this CD is perfect. Listen to this music and you forget life, problems and the this whole shit world and society! My rate is 9.5/10! If you are really into ambient, experimental, soft electronics, Pete Namlook, Fax, etc. Mum is a reference! Check it and check the record stores in Köln it's cool to be there! Howard (06-09-2002) In memory of James "Drexciya" Stinson. Our condolences and respect for the innovating music he made! |
