Left to right: Werner , Howard, Ralph
Soulcamp (Werner Niedermeier & S.Sersseludis) cross hill part two: "huula hop" 2001

First of all thanks to Werner for sending me this one.
When I got it, I was surprised to see the title and thought it was the second part
of the first one I already reviewed.
But no-way this, one is totally different and I must say the soca s mix make me vibrate!
On the first side of the record you can find the main mix, nice soft percussion track with moog sounds and little drum kick, very deep.
The second side it's the one with the soca mix, this is really like my favorite track!
The percussion and the rhythm are similar as in the main mix, but here the rhythm is faster and there is also a voice in it that really rocks!
So anyway I had the pleasure to meet Ralph Lock again in Berlin and Werner too, we had some fun and I can see they are as cool as their music is! Respect for those who fight for small labels and honest original music!
Keep the faith!

Honesty "reset e.p." Soulcamp 009 (promo) 2002

Last week I received this record from Werner and I was expecting somethin' cool and that's wat it was. The record isn't officially released yet at this time but it will be soon, so it's a kind of preview-review
On the first side you can find the track called Isusic, about the title I can tell you nothing! Just the music :), it sounds like there are clapping-hands sounds in it with a piano-organ like other ground sound. The rhythm is slow but you can easily dance to it. It sure is going to be appreciated by the easy-house lovers.
On side B (side without text) you can find the track called dubtest.
And like the title says it's kind of dub-house sound like.... with tam tam in it and a high-head organ rhythm. A track for those who love different and progressive house.. on one side house like on the other side a kind of early techno stuff, reminds me of 'Stacy Pullen art of Dance..'
Anyway I recommend you this record.
