Hello, it's me again Howieeeeeee!!
Today I would like to talk about the second nu jazz generation. First of all I heard this compilation first at Ezboy's place, I immediateley decided to buy this compilation when I heard it at his place.
I was not suprised to see that the compilation was released on BBE, this label brings a variety of funky-jazzy-house and this CD is the 1000th example of what they have in store!
I really like the taste of mister Beadle. In a few words: this compilation is a fine combination of jazz rhtythms and housey background beats and percussion! Also if you check the tracklisting you'll see big names and projects like: Ian pooley, Boogie Soliterre, Stereo People, Russ Gabriel etc... I didn't know all the artist on the compilation but their tracks are all fine and jazzy with spirit and with a perfect sound. The only remark is that last year we heard lots of good jazzy-housy tracks, albums and compilations... sometimes I've got the feeling that there hasn't been anything really innovating released in the last months ... it's always reworks or sounds that have already been used.
All in all this compilation was one of my favorite of last month!
Big shout to Kevin beadle and the BBE crew for their great job!

keep cool,
Howard
