Very cool new release on large, I found this item in Maastricht (NL) at the Sirius record store. Like the title says, this deep-house maxi is bassed on roots. With roots they mean jazz and funk. The bass-line of this record is very soft and there are a lot of instruments in the background of each track! Sure this guys know who to make good stuff! There is kind of feeling in this record that give you a peacefull mood!! The tracks, let's begin at the B-side for a change face b. first track: "The Roots" Classic enthnic style vocals, with Jazzy trumpets and instrumental core. Yeah really cool loungy house. I like this kind of music, it gives some warmth in my room, music with a soul, a spirit! "Peace your mind" is a very very good swinging house track with kind of Jazz fusion sounds, the bass-line in this track is more pumping but there is also a nice vocal: 'you got to keep on searching...' Searching the roots and soul! Yeah, like we heard from our US friend larry: a Killer track. There is a moog in this track that's gonna make you fall over. Oh my god what a sound! face a.
