Fila Brazillia
A touch of cloth
1x CD : Tritone
For years active and having acquired a unique position in the music scene, Fila Brazillia was the group that was partly responsible for the success of the Pork label. But now, they deciced it was time to release music on their own label Tritone records. "A touch of cloth" is the first result. So what's in for us music enthousiasts? The mood is immediately set right with the funky "The bugs will bite". This is a catchy funky & funny track, rythmic uptempo with wicked moogs and synths. The pace is brought down with "Airlock humes", an airy tune with flutes and keys. "Ridden pony" and "Slow light" explore further into more trippy jazzed out easy tunes, the latter featuring soft moogy effects. A slight change of style is offered by "Snakeskin bib", with featherlight voices over trippy breakbeats and jazzy keys. More relaxing vibes for lounging sunday afternoons are on the way with "XII", introducing a delicately played trumpet,  "Trivia" with a deep driving subbass and other wicked gimmicks in a lazy hazy tune. Then slowly the CD fades into soundscapes we're used to from Fila Brazillia with "Leonids" and "Spores".
All in all, Fila Brazillia prove once again they are still fresh and up to date with todays music and bring us interesting vibes.
