This compilation offers the same style as the "Earth" series of LTJ Bukem.
Not only because it's on the same record label but also because it features some of the same artists. The difference is that this CD gives an overview of the releases on the Good Looking Label. I think this is one of the best drum 'n bass / trip-hop labels in the UK.
It features the following artists: Seba, LTJ Bukem (of course !!), PFM, AXIS, Intense, Lotek,
etc.
They are all there with a new set of excellent drum 'n bass tracks! If you like the "Earth" series, you'll love this CD.
No agressive hard-step-rattle but drum 'n bass with atmosphere and rhythm.
Everything is subtle and delicate ... it takes you on a trip ...
Good Looking has proven once again that it's not necessary to produce new tracks every week to be able to survive. They comply with the "Herbert Philosophy": it's better to release quality music once in a while then
to release mediocre stuff every week.
Respect to all the artists and everyone at Good Looking Records.
I think the next time I have to dj at Sous-Sol this music will definitely be appreciated by everyone who listens.
I know I say this a lot, but if you like D&B you should really check out this CD.

Zoals in de reeks "Earth" van LTJ Bukem is er hier een zelfde sfeer.
Niet alleen wegens het zelfde label maar ook sommige artisten komen op beide voor.
Doch is er een verschil: deze CD heeft een overzicht van de artisten op het Good Looking
label. Wat volgens mijn mening één der beste Drum & Bass / Trip-Hop labels is in de UK.
Volgende artisten kun je er bijvoorbeeld op terug vinden: Seba, LTJ
Bukem (natuurlijk !!),
PFM, AXIS, Intense, Lotek, enz.
Ze zijn er allen met een nieuwe reeks kei goede Drum & Bass platen ! !
Echt als je liefhebber bent van de "Earth" reeks dan is deze CD niet te versmaden.
Geen keihard hard-step-geratel maar sfeervolle Drum & Bass met ‘rhythm’.
Alles is zo verzorgd en verfijnd.. het neemt je als het ware mee ….
Good Looking heeft weer eens bewezen dat het niet noodzakelijk is iedere week tracks te produceren om te overleven. Zij houden zich aan de filisofie van ‘Herbert’,
namelijk: beter af
en toe keigoede dingen uitbrengen, dan weekelijks door de weekse Drum & Bass.
Wel proficiat aan de artisten en aan iedereen van het Good Looking label.
Ik denk de volgende keer dat ik in de Sous-sol speel deze muziek in de smaak zal vallen van
iedereen die het horen wil.
Ik weet dat deze zin bij mij veel terug komt maar deze CD moet je zeker eens beluisteren als
je D&B apprecieert ! !
